This Privacy Policy sets out how we, Berries Unlocked, store and use information about you when you use or interact with our website, www.berriesunlocked.com, and where we otherwise obtain or collect information about you. This privacy policy is effective from 18 June 2021.
The types of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
- User identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
- Emails and messages, this information consists of the emails we send to individuals in the form of opt in/out marketing emails and Berries Unlocked Newsletters.
We at Berries Unlocked do not store any of your personal or financial information. We will not collect anything on site apart from the user's basket, which we pass through to Stripe, our payment provider. When you place a click and collect order via our website, Stripe handles all financial information.

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you as a result of you choosing to subscribe to our newsletter and other marketing materials.

How we store your personal information
Our site is hosted on Netlify and mainly static, so there is no data captured or stored.

We use MailChimp in order to share our marketing materials and newsletters with our subscribed customers, and keep your name and email address for three years, or until you unsubscribe to our newsletter. We will then dispose of your information by deleting your personal information from our database.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights including:
- Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
- Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

- Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
