Heather decided to set up this great initiative after witnessing the hardship that the local community has endured as a result of the pandemic; it’s never been so important to shop locally and support small businesses!

We love Local Discovery Card’s mission - not only does the collective want to bring our community together, but also to give young people a thriving, supportive community to grow up in, be part of and be proud of.

Local Discovery Card is set to be a one-stop shop for locals (and tourists!), with over 230 independent businesses partnered up, covering over 15 industry sectors across the region. The initiative currently covers Monmouthshire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire.

There are 3 different memberships available: monthly or annual subscriptions, or a 7-Day Discovery card, perfect for people visiting the area, or if you want to trial the service before subscribing for a longer period. When you sign up, you will gain instant access to hundreds of incredible offers and discounts.Your Local Discovery Card will cover everything from trades to leisure and experiences, from food and drink to accommodation, artists and makers to business-to-business and much much more.
